The EURONISA Foundation

The mission of the EURONISA Foundation is to help people to live a meaningful life independently of their age, social or health status. The foundation supports projects and activities of organizations working in social, cultural and educational areas.
In this way the foundation wants to

  • help elderly, ill and lonesome people in their everyday life,
  • improve and enrich life of physically and mentally disabled people,
  • help families with children in distress,
  • support the programs focusing on prevention of AIDS, usage of drugs and other negative actions.

The foundation works mainly in the Czech part of the Euroregion Nisa (the Liberec and Šluknov area). The foundation was founded in 1995 by the Moravian Church in Liberec. In 14 years of the work foundation has supported more than 945 projects and distributed more than 20 million Kc.
